Awoosh Multimedia Slideshows:
800 X 600 Format

**The slideshows on this page were created to be viewed on a screen set to 800 X 600. There are easy instructions at the bottom of this page for changing your screen.

The 800 X 600 screen resolution required for viewing these slideshows is different than the other, newer slideshows that are on this website, which were created to be viewed in 1024 X 768. Technology gallops along, and big screens are the new thing, so future shows will be in higher resolution.

Please read the instructions on this page carefully before you attempt to download the files. Do not left click on the links. RIght click on the picture or underlined link of the show you want to download and then "Save Target As" and save the file to your desktop. Open the file once it has finished downloading.

As always, apologies in advance, but these exe files will not play on a Mac. System requirements to view Awoosh slideshows include a sound card and speakers for your computer. You can exit the shows at any time by pressing ESC on your keyboard.

Here's how to easily change your screen resolution:

First, minimize this page and all other windows open on your browser.

Windows 98: Right click on your desktop. Select "Active Desktop", then select "Customize My Desktop", then select the "Settings" tab, and then click and drag the toggle to 800 X 600. Then click Apply. There will be a few second delay as your desktop is resized and then a screen will pop up asking you if you would like to keep the new setting. Click Yes.

Windows XP: Right click on your desktop. Select "Properties", then select the "Settings" tab, and then slide the toggle to 800 X 600 and then click Apply. There will be a few second delay as your desktop is resized and then a screen will pop up asking you if you would like to keep the new setting. Click Yes.

When you have finished viewing these shows, if you wish you can reset your previous preferences in the exact same way.
