INDIAN LIONFISH

Very similar to the common lionfish, but has a little shorter pectoral fins, and one less ray in the dorsal and anal spines. He was not only beautiful, but friendly as well, out and about and hunting in the middle of the day. I had seen lionfish in Fiji and Hawaii previously, but they always seemed to be crammed face down in some deep hole, and not out and visible like the ones at Laha.
