CERATOSOMA TRILOBATA NUDIBRANCH

After searching and hunting, I think this thing is a Ceratosoma c. tenue - clearly it's a chromodorid, but I couldn't find any common name to go with it (how about "purple weiner nudibranch"?).

It was huge for a nudibranch, at about 8 inches long, and like the seahorses, just out in the middle of the barren sand and rubble all by itself. Beautiful! You have to love these photo subjects that don't move real fast.
